Context and Alefredo Books launch a transnational project to support digital transformation of education in Jordan and MENA

Context Learning has launched a project to support digital transformation of education in Jordan. Funded and supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Finland and Finnpartnership, the “Supporting Digital Transformation of Education in Jordan” project was officially kicked off on 25 April in Amman, Jordan. Context Learning´s local partner is Alefredo Books Ltd. – the leading platform for international educational resources in Jordan. The project will last until the spring of 2023. The project is part of a long-term business partnership focusing on the educational market in the Middle-East. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Context Learning and Alefredo Books in 2021 to establish the ground for long-term cooperation in the MENA region.

Alefredo Books has rapidly gained a strong position as a marketplace of educational books in the MENA region thanks to its business concept which is founded on green values addressing sustainability, responsibility and a high level of social impact. Because of this it has gained strong support and recognition from investors and international bodies such as the United Nations Development Program in Jordan. “We are excited to have this fruitful collaboration to share the knowledge and experience with reliable Finnish partners such as Context Learning. Through this high-level initiative, Context Learning will make available in Jordan its strong expertise and experience from educational transformation projects in many other countries, based on developing long-term business cooperation with local educational bodies. “With the advice and support of Finnpartnership we identified significant opportunities for collaboration and cooperation in Jordan which is a very dynamic nation in the Middle-East leading developments in various areas of life including education.
